Chris and I just watched the second half of the Nets/Hornets game and we both came to the same conclusion. The Nets are not fun to watch. In a game that was won by a Chris Paul layup with 2 seconds left, there’s really no excuse for that much boredom, but the only time the game was exciting was in the last 60 seconds. The Nets just aren’t a watchable team. It might be their boring arena, or maybe the fact that their leading scorer has no personality, or possibly because their high flying superstar has incurred my hatred since he stopped trying for the Raptors. Who knows?
You know who IS exciting to watch? The Nuggets. We saw a bit of them in bonus coverage after the Nets game and the Iverson/Melo combination is insane. I think they could turn into the team that nobody wants to play come playoff time. Also, I saw a JR Smith alley oop the other night and he was looking into the rim. That’s entertainment.

Also, Gooden went back to sucking tonight. Five points, nine boards, 2 for 9 shooting in a 122 - 100 loss to the Nugs.
Lebron is shooting 64% from the line this season.
